Saúde is the Portuguese word for health. It is also what Brazilians say when they raise a glass.

The Premise

You have spent years building something. A career, a family, a life. You have gotten very good at performing.

What most people like you have not had time for is the harder work: actually resting, actually listening to your body, actually being present with the people you are building all of this for.

Saúde 2026 is seven nights in one of the world's most untouched coastal villages. No cars. No signal worth speaking of. Just the Atlantic wind, warm freshwater lagoons, and a program designed to reset your nervous system and send you home feeling like yourself again.

This is not a holiday. It is not a corporate retreat. It is a small group of people in a place wild enough to make honesty feel natural.

The Place

Prea is a fishing village on the coast of Ceará, in Brazil's northeast. The beach is reached on foot. No paved roads, no cars, no chain hotels. The Atlantic trades blow clean and constant off the water. The lagoons behind the dunes are warm and still.

It is the kind of place that disorients you on the first day and recalibrates you by the third.

November is the tail end of the wind season: warm, dry, and uncrowded. Transfer from Fortaleza airport takes approximately 2 hours. Fortaleza is served by direct flights from São Paulo, Lisbon, and Miami.

The Program Arc

Rather than filling every hour, the week moves through three deliberate phases.

Phase 1: Arrive and Unwind (Days 1–2)

People arrive from airports, inboxes, and school runs. The first two days ask almost nothing of them. A welcome dinner. Morning swims. Time to remember what quiet sounds like. The environment does the early work. Prea is disorienting in the best way.

Phase 2: The Core Reset (Days 3–5)

Three focused days, each anchored to a single theme.

Body. Movement, physical challenge, and hands-on bodywork. Your body has been carrying what your schedule has not let it process. We start there.

Breath. A guided breathwork session, grounded in evidence and facilitated by a specialist. This is the highest-leverage intervention in the program and the one participants most consistently describe as a turning point.

Rest. Understanding what your body actually needs and what you have been substituting for it. Sleep, stillness, and structured reflection.

Morning sessions run from 7am to 1pm for adults while children are in their parallel adventure program. Afternoons are yours. The lagoon, the dunes, a kite lesson, or nothing at all.

Phase 3: Integration (Days 6–7)

Lighter programming, space to absorb. One shared family experience is built into the group schedule. A sunset dune walk or a lagoon afternoon together. The final evening is a celebration dinner.

The Facilitator Team

Saúde 2026 is a curated program. The team is small and chosen for quality, not credential volume.

Movement and Yoga Lead. Daily morning sessions, adaptive to all experience levels, with an emphasis on functional mobility and nervous system regulation.

Breathwork Specialist. Leads two guided sessions during the week. The approach is grounded in physiology and designed to be accessible without prior experience.

Bodywork Team. Massage and recovery available daily by appointment throughout the week.

Kids Program Director and Team. A genuine parallel adventure program for children, not childcare.

The Children's Program

Children have their own week running in parallel. Surf and swim lessons, capoeira, local cooking with village families, beach games, nature walks through the dunes, and crafts. The program runs each morning alongside the adult sessions.

Family time is protected each afternoon. Shared dinners are built into most evenings.

CASAS ELILULA

Three houses sit side by side on the beachfront in Preá, designed by a London-based architect and built by local craftspeople using materials sourced from the surrounding region. The furniture was made by hand, either upcycled or commissioned specifically for the space. Nothing here was purchased from a catalogue. The result is a property that feels like it belongs to the place rather than imposed on it.

The architecture is built around the idea that the inside and the outside are the same space. Wooden shutters open fully onto wrap-around terraces. Rooms flow into indoor gardens and open walkways. The sea breeze does the work that air conditioning does everywhere else. A 25-metre pool sits at the centre of the compound, large enough to swim properly, surrounded by a wooden deck and a pool house that becomes the gathering point at the end of a long day.

Every meal is prepared on-site by a private chef, using produce sourced daily from local markets and fishermen. The food is part of the program, not an afterthought. Breakfast on the terrace, long lunches under shade, dinners that stretch into the night with the sound of the ocean behind them.

Casas Elilula holds up to 20 guests across the three houses. For Saúde 2026, the entire property is reserved exclusively for the group.
